Mark Making is not just 'Scribbles!'

Blog Entry: 28th September 2020

Mark making is more than just scribbles, lines and shapes. It is the beginning of a child's journey towards writing and is an important step in a child's development for handwriting, creativity and coordination.

In preparation for mark making it is important for children to explore with their whole body through gross motor skills such as climbing, digging, running, rolling and throwing.
